Angela Evelyn Bassett (born April 15th 1960) is an American actor. Angela Evelyn Bassett, an American actor. Bassett grew up in Winston-Salem North Carolina, raised by her aunt and Uncle in New York New York. Bassett as well as her younger sister aged five, old, moved out of New York and into St. Petersburg to live with the mother of their divorced father. Bassett was a fan of James Earl Jones in John Steinbeck's Of Mice and Men play when she was in highschool and realized that she was an actor and was looking to pursue. She went to Yale University New Haven Connecticut and graduated with a bachelor's degree (1980) on African American studies and a master's degree (1983) from the Yale School of Drama. Courtney B. Vance was also an actor at Yale. They married in 1997. Qualification: B.A. degree in African-American studies in 1980, Master in Fine Arts degree from the Yale School of Drama School: Jordan Park Elementary School Disston Middle School (seventh grade) Azalea Middle School (eighth and ninth grade) Boca Ciega High School. Angela Bassett has been cast in the lead role of Ramonda for the action adventure movie, i.e. Black Panther Wakanda forever 2022.
